How much does installation cost?
Prices can vary from $200 to $1500 depending on such things as:
The type of lights used
The size of your house or number of lights used
The number of trees and shrubs being decorated
The pitch and height of the roof
The number and size of daytime decor
Any extra materials used
We are happy to come to your home or business to give you a free estimate in Livingston County, out of county estimates have a small travel fee - call for details.

Are there electrical requirements? A large number of strands will require a dedicated circuit. We will do our best to inform you if additional electrical service is needed when we conduct your free estimate.

When can my Christmas decorations be installed? Christmas decorations can begin as early as October and may continue into the third week of December.

Do my Christmas lights stay on all day? No, we will provide you with a timer and set it on and off according to your wishes, typically from 6 to 11 or 12.

Do we rent or buy the lights from Santa's Light Crew? We sell the highest grade commercial grade products to our customers. This enables us to guarantee the products. Plus you benefit from the reduced pricing the following years because you already own the lights.

Can we use lights and decorations that we already have? Probably not. But we will work with your existing decor if it is in good working condition and you have the original packaging so that we know the electrical specifications. We only ask that it is untangled. However, we cannot guarantee lights and decor that we have not sold you.

What if a light goes out? Due to weather conditions individual bulbs are not guaranteed. Light bulbs do burn out. We will leave you a supply of replacement bulbs or you can call us and we will replace burned out bulbs for a minimum of $25 service fee. If a strand goes out or there is a problem with the installation, call us, we will fix it.

Who takes down the lights and when? Removal service is available and that cost will be provided to you at the time of the free estimate. Typically removal cost is 25-30% of installation. We start removing lights one week after New Years but will schedule earlier if requested. Weather conditions may effect removal. If the lights are iced in or the roof is unsafe we will have to delay removal until conditions allow.

What about storing the lights and decorations? We will provide you with storage containers. We can store them for you for $25 per container per year. You retain complete ownership of the lights and decorations and can retrieve them at no extra charge. We do request one week's notice.
